President’s Letter – 2024

Dear COLBA Members,

I hope this message finds you all doing well and enjoying a fast start to 2024. Our industry is definitely in a period unknown right now, but I remain optimistic for the future, both near and long term.

COLBA remains as strong as ever. Our membership is broad, engaged and growing. Our finances are on solid ground and our Board Members are committed to continuing to provide you with meaningful and valuable events. We are truly the best Commercial Real Estate organization around and I am very proud to play a small part in that.

We are currently planning our 2024 program of events and looking for sponsors to host COLBA events. Please contact Lauren Lakin, our Executive Director, if you are interested in hosting. This is a great opportunity to showcase your building and bring our community together.

The Annual Golf Outing: HUGE NEWS! For the first time in as many years as I can remember the Golf Outing will be moving to a new location. We are excited to announce the fun this year will be had at Exmoor Country Club on June 17th, so reserve that date now as COLBA members get first access to reserve a spot at this perennially SOLD-OUT event.

2024 Membership Dues

The COLBA Board has elected the following:

• $250 for renewing members

• $300 for new members

Membership renewal invoices were sent out earlier this month, but dues can be paid online here if you want to cross it off your to-do list! Our great organization does not work without the participation of its Members. We would love to hear your ideas and thoughts for events, so please fill out this survey or contact the Board. We look forward to hearing from you.
